Steam generation for heat and power

At the Julius Schulte Trebsen production site, GETEC installed a high-performance steam generation plant based on lignite dust firing. The plant supplies steam for both heat and power generation.

As a result, the energy concept combines a reliable supply of process steam with the efficient use of the fuel. At the same time, the steam generation plant provides an important basis for the site’s overall energy supply.

Carbotechnik provides engineering and fuel handling technology

GETEC commissioned Carbotechnik to supply the required technical components. Carbotechnik was responsible for key areas including engineering, fuel dosing, fuel conveying and electrical and control technology.

The scope of supply and services included:

• Complete engineering
• Fuel dosing technology with two DN 1300 dosing machines, each with a capacity of 1,740 kg/h
• Fuel conveying technology
• Electrical, instrumentation, control and automation technology
