Dosing system for Qualical’s PFRK
Project completion for the Bergmann Lime Plant in Azendorf
The lime plant operated by “J. Bergmann GmbH & Co.” in Azendorf has opted for a new QualiCal-PFRK and the Carbotechnik dosing machine. Lime has been burned at this plant for over 100 years.
The machine supplied by Carbotechnik reliably feeds coal dust to the six lances per kiln shaft. Air distribution was again achieved using an air collector pre-mounted on the dosing unit, which measures and monitors the individual air flows. The flow rates can be adjusted using ball valves.
The top-mounted filter for the fluidizing air to be dedusted was also designed, engineered, and manufactured by Carbotechnik.
