Baumit is the market leader in plaster and lime products in Austria and ranks third in Europe. At the Bad Ischl site, a ring-chamber kiln is operated for burning lime, which is to be retrofitted for the use of petroleum coke and lignite dust.
To this end, Carbotechnik supplied and installed a complete system comprising a 120 m³ silo, a dosing machine, and a conveying air duct leading to the connection with the 8 combustion chambers of the ring-chamber kiln. Each conveying line has a control range of 1:8 while maintaining consistent dosing accuracy.
