Review of POWTECH 2019: Carbotechnik convinces with innovations

From April 9 to 11, 2019, POWTECH took place at the Nuremberg Exhibition Centre, where this leading international trade fair focused entirely on mechanical processing, bulk solids, and analysis. In addition, around 14,200 trade visitors attended the event, because they wanted to discover the latest developments and practical solutions. Furthermore, the exhibition featured 824 exhibitors from 35 countries, so it provided an excellent platform for exchanging industry know-how and technology trends. Consequently, Carbotechnik participated as an exhibitor once again, and we proudly presented our proven as well as our latest in-house technologies.

Biomass dosing and sewage sludge recycling in the spotlight

Specifically, our pioneering dosing system for biomass dusts took center stage, which we demonstrated live and clearly using a wood dust doser. Indeed, the innovative design with an advanced agitator guarantees highly reliable dosing, although inhomogeneous dusts usually present a massive technical challenge for operators. Additionally, we showcased our concept for thermal sewage sludge recycling, since this solution not only meets strict legal requirements for phosphorus recovery, but also enables operators to use self-generated electricity, local heating, or cooling.

A complete success with strong customer feedback

As a result, our participation led to numerous inspiring technical discussions, while we also established valuable new business contacts. Moreover, many of our existing customers visited us, because they wanted to learn about our latest products and services directly on site. Ultimately, the highly positive feedback and the quality of these discussions turned POWTECH 2019 into a complete success, which is why we already look forward to future events.
