Carbotechnik at the 2021 Berlin Conference

On 15 and 16 November 2021, industry experts gathered in Berlin for the Berlin Sewage Sludge Conference 2021. The event focused on sewage sludge recovery, recycling technologies, and sustainable resource management. As a result, it provided an important platform for exchanging knowledge and discussing future developments.

Innovative solutions for thermal sewage sludge recycling

Carbotechnik once again participated in the conference and presented its latest technologies for thermal sewage sludge recovery. In particular, the company highlighted innovative approaches that improve energy efficiency while supporting sustainable waste treatment.

Furthermore, the presentation addressed the opportunities offered by phosphorus recovery. Since phosphorus is a critical raw material, recovering it from sewage sludge is becoming increasingly important for both environmental protection and resource security.
