Fire-tube Boilers – A turnkey solution from Carbotechnik

The “Philippine, Technische Kunststoffe” plastics plant is located in Lahnstein, directly on the Rhine. This branch plant manufactures plastic components for the automotive industry.

GETEC AG developed an energy supply concept in which steam would be supplied primarily—though not exclusively—by local lignite. Furthermore, the concept was designed to allow for the future retrofitting of on-site power generation.

Following the signing of a contracting agreement for a large-water-tube boiler with a thermal output of 9.3 MW, GETEC AG commissioned Carbotechnik to design, manufacture, install, and commission the necessary components.
