ILA Symposium Sydney 2025: Carbotechnik and Qualical

Together with our long-standing business partner Qualical, Carbotechnik participated in the ILA Symposium Sydney 2025. Organized by the International Lime Association (ILA), the renowned symposium is an important international platform for the lime industry.

The event focused on current developments in energy efficiency, sustainability and process optimization. For Carbotechnik, it also provided an excellent opportunity to present our dosing technology to an international audience of industry experts.

Expert presentation by Alexander Holzer and Vittorio Cella

A particular highlight of the ILA Symposium Sydney 2025 was the joint expert presentation by Alexander Holzer from Carbotechnik and Vittorio Cella from Qualical.

During their presentation, they explained the technical advantages and versatile applications of our coarse dust feeder. They also demonstrated how precise dosing technology can contribute to greater efficiency and reduced CO₂ emissions in the lime industry.

100% Biomass as an example of innovative dosing technology

Alexander Holzer and Vittorio Cella presented a particularly interesting practical example based on a jointly implemented project. The plant was converted to operate with 100% biomass.

According to the project, it was the first plant of its kind. The example clearly demonstrated the potential of modern dosing technology for the use of alternative fuels in the lime industry.

It also showed how precise and reliable dosing systems can support the implementation of new energy concepts.

Strong interest in precise dosing technology

The ILA Symposium in Sydney gave us many opportunities to exchange ideas with experts from the international lime industry.

We were particularly pleased by the strong interest in our coarse dust feeder and its possible applications. Many discussions focused on precise dosing technology for industrial plant engineering and on the challenges associated with alternative fuels.

The direct exchange with industry experts and companies provided valuable new insights for future projects.

Successful participation in the ILA Symposium

Our participation in the ILA Symposium Sydney 2025 was a great success. We established new contacts with international industry experts, strengthened existing partnerships and generated interest in our technology among potential new customers.

Together with Qualical, we will use the insights and positive feedback gained at the event to further develop future projects. At the same time, we aim to strengthen the international positioning of our technologies for precise dosing and alternative fuel applications.

Thank you for the exchange

We would like to sincerely thank all participants of the ILA Symposium in Sydney for the valuable discussions and strong interest in our solutions.

Special thanks go to our long-standing business partner Qualical for the successful cooperation and the joint expert presentation. We look forward to continuing the new contacts and developing further projects together.
