120 m³ Silo for Lignite Dust

Since 2009, LEUBE has operated a Carbotechnik dosing machine at its lime plant in Golling. The system supplies fuel to a shaft kiln and a multi-chamber lime kiln.

In 2013, the existing system was expanded. Carbotechnik installed an additional 120 m³ silo equipped with a rotary valve and screw conveyor. At the same time, the fuel system was converted from petroleum coke to lignite dust.

The new fuel silo for the lime plant provides reliable fuel storage and controlled discharge. In addition, the combination of the silo, rotary valve and screw conveyor ensures a continuous material flow to the downstream dosing and conveying technology.

Autonomous Rail Loading Station

In 2014, Carbotechnik expanded the plant infrastructure once again. The company supplied and commissioned a largely autonomous rail loading station.

The rail loading station enables efficient fuel loading and complements the existing silo and conveying technology at the lime plant.
