Fuel supply for a QualiCal PFR lime kiln CT with Qualical, Bergmann GmbH & Co. in Azendorf
A Quick Overview of the Project
Dosing Machine for QualiCal GGR Kiln at J. Bergmann in Azendorf
The lime plant of J. Bergmann GmbH & Co. in Azendorf, Germany, has chosen a new QualiCal GGR kiln together with a high-performance dosing machine from Carbotechnik. The plant has been producing burnt lime for more than 100 years. For the new kiln system, Carbotechnik supplied the dosing and conveying-air technology required for reliable fuel feeding.
Reliable Coal Dust Supply for the GGR Kiln
The dosing machine for the QualiCal GGR kiln reliably supplies the six lances installed in each kiln shaft with coal dust. As a result, the system ensures a consistent fuel supply to the individual lances.
In addition, Carbotechnik implemented the conveying-air distribution using a collector mounted directly on the dosing machine. The collector measures and monitors the individual air flows. Furthermore, operators can adjust the air quantities individually via ball valves. This allows the conveying-air distribution to be adapted precisely to the operating conditions.
Top-Mounted Filter for Fluidizing Air
Carbotechnik also designed, engineered and manufactured the top-mounted filter for the fluidizing air that requires dedusting. This filter technology complements the dosing machine and provides suitable treatment of the fluidizing air.
With this solution, Carbotechnik supplied a compact system for fuel dosing and conveying-air distribution for the new QualiCal GGR kiln at the J. Bergmann lime plant in Azendorf.
