Getec AG, HH Philippine Engineering Plastics, 56112 Lahnstein
The “Philippine” technical plastics plant is located in Lahnstein directly on the Rhine. This branch produces plastic products for applications in the automobile industry.
GETEC AG developed an energy supply concept with the delivery of steam using domestic lignite as the primary of several energy sources. Retrofitting in-house electricity generation was to be supported as well.
After signing a contracting agreement for a shell boiler with a thermal firing capacity of 9.3 MW, GETEC AG commissioned Carbotechnik for the layout, fabrication, installation and putting into operation of the required components.
The Carbotechnik scope of delivery and performance essentially consists of:
- overall engineering
- dosing of pulverised lignite (dosing machine DN1300 1,540 kg/h)
- conveying system
- electrical, measurement, instrumentation and control engineering
